Green AI Day 2025

Stuttgart

September 25, 2025

Stuttgart's annual gathering at the intersection of artificial intelligence and sustainability. Bringing together companies, startups, research institutions, and cluster initiatives to network, share knowledge, and shape the future of Green AI.

What is Green AI?

AI products and applications offer valuable opportunities to improve the sustainability of business processes, develop solutions for environmental challenges, and preserve finite resources. At the same time, AI itself should be developed, procured, and operated as sustainably as possible.

The Green AI Day was launched in 2023 by the Economic Development Offices of the City of Stuttgart and the Stuttgart Region to increase the visibility of Green AI projects and build a connected regional ecosystem.

Sustainable AI is at the heart of Europe’s deep tech future. Green AI Day perfectly embodies the kind of event the Deep Tech Collective champions, bringing together innovators who build real technology while addressing real-world challenges, including environmental impact. We are proud to play a part in this important conversation.

Key Themes:

Resource efficiency

AI is only as smart as its ecological footprint is small. Experts from software, hardware, research, and consulting chart practical paths toward resource-conscious AI, from efficient code to sustainable chip production.

Industry

How can AI potential in industrial SMEs be identified strategically and implemented sustainably? Sessions span from initial potential analysis through to technical execution, followed by a moderated fishbowl discussion.
