Our Founding Story!
We believe in technology that matters. We champion bold, purpose-driven innovation that tackles real social and environmental challenges.
On 9 May 2025, the idea became reality: the Deep Tech Collective was officially founded – hybrid, with some of us gathered in Munich and the rest joining digitally. It wasn’t just a symbolic moment. Together, we went through and adopted our statutes, officially elected the board, and set the foundation for everything to come.
And because every milestone deserves to be celebrated properly, we even had a homemade founding cake baked by one of our members, a sweet reminder that passion and community are at the heart of what we do. Looking back now, exactly four months later, we’re proud of how far we’ve come.

From navigating statutes and bureaucracy, over countless digital meetings and workshops, soft launch and first partner events, the journey has been intense but uniting. And the next big step is already ahead: our first Deep Tech Collective Conference, on 3 of October in Heilbronn.
A community Takes Shape
From the very beginning, Deep Tech Collective has been driven by a diverse and inspiring group of women volunteers, each bringing their own expertise, perspective, and energy. Together, they have shaped a space for learning, collaboration, and shared growth—where technology becomes a tool not only for innovation, but also for connection and empowerment.
